So we got our hands on some super sweet stationary and party goodies from Betsy White.
I’m really trying to figure out how I’ve made it through my kid’s 13 birthdays combined without this stuff. To be honest, I only even continue to deal with birthday parties because I wanna have a super cool theme and decorate. Riley begged to have a sleepover this year, so I figured I’d save the good stuff for her birthday pictures. I mean would 5 year olds really appreciate a pineapple theme like I’d expect them to? I digress. I’d pinned a ton of pineapples to a secret board on Pinterest. When I saw the pineapple napkins and pineapple ballons in the Betsy White shop, I thought “Oh, hell yea! Betsy n’ nem know what’s up!”.
Riley gave her pineapple a name…”Ms. Pineapple” (clever, right?) and forced her to get all dolled up for the photos, too.
All of the ballons we chose to include in the photoshoot were different, but they all came together seamlessly. They all just belonged together. It was absolutely my kinda “party”. Ha!.
To be honest, those flamingos almost had a photoshoot of their own too, but the baby hasn’t quite accepted the modeling gene she was perdestined to have. Check out Betsy White for your next event! Tell ‘em Mocha Kid sent ya!
I can’t let you leave without and awesome pineapple joke:
Q: Why did the pineapple stop in the middle of the road?
A: Because it ran out of juice!
Don’t judge. It’s the best I could do.
